Our Dentists
Dr. Sam N. Hanania, DMD, FAGD
Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Hanania attended the University of Florida for both his Doctor of Dental Medicine and undergraduate degrees. He has practiced cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry in Jacksonville since 1991.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Hanania is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and is a former president of the Northeast District Dental Association. Dr. Hanania received a Fellowship to the Academy of General Dentistry in 2002 and is the past President of the Florida Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a past Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he instructed resident doctors in reconstructive dentistry. In 2002 and 2003, he was awarded “Best Clinical Faculty”.
Dr. Hanania enjoys being active in the community. He is a Member of San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, a Charter Member of Rotary of Bartram Trail, a Volunteer for Creeks Athletic Association, a leader with the Boy Scouts of Northeast Florida, and a Member of Mandarin Museum and Historical Society. Dr. Hanania is married with four children and lives in the Fruit Cove/Julington Creek and Switzerland area. He volunteers at Healing Hands and Sulzbacher Center.
Dr. Sam N. Hanania, Jr., DMD
Dr. Hanania, Jr. attended Bishop Kenny High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hanania, Jr., is passionate about patient-centered care and helping people achieve healthy, confident smiles. He has a special interest in clear aligner therapy and is committed to providing modern, minimally invasive solutions for his patients. He also offers botulinum toxin therapy for facial esthetics and the management of orofacial and TMJ-related pain.
He is an active member of the Northeast District Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, Florida Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. His professional affiliations reflect his commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in both general dentistry and facial esthetic procedures.
Dr. Hanania, Jr. enjoys giving back to the Jacksonville community and values the relationships he builds with his patients and their families. He is a member of San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church and takes pride in being part of the same community where he was raised. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and participating in local events. Dr. Hanania, Jr. is proud to serve his hometown and looks forward to building a long, meaningful career in the Jacksonville area.
